Does AeroCampaign charge per contact?
No. AeroCampaign does not meter stored contacts. Pricing is set by company segment — SMB, mid-market, or enterprise — so growing or decaying a list does not change the platform fee. List cleaning, dedupe, and suppression are bundled into every tier, which means unsubscribed and bounced addresses stop costing money instead of continuing to count against a tier.
- Contact count does not affect the platform fee.
- Unsubscribed and bounced addresses are not billed.
- Cleaning, dedupe, and suppression are included at every tier.
- Mailchimp and Constant Contact both meter stored contacts.
Per-contact pricing has a structural conflict of interest: the vendor earns more when your list decays, because dead addresses keep counting toward the tier. Cleaning them is left as a paid add-on from a third party.
Bundling hygiene under every tier removes that conflict. Suppression is enforced as a database anti-join at send time, so removed addresses genuinely never receive another message.
